Arizona Yoga Retreats

A letter from our founders…

Two women hugging outdoors in a desert landscape with sparse bushes and rocks, sunlight casting a warm glow, and a small dog sitting nearby.

Hey friends, it’s April & Keirst!

First & foremost, we’re so grateful to have you here.

Rooted Renewal was founded in 2023 with a deep desire to do things differently in the yoga space.

Our belief is that retreats should be accessible to all humans. We strive to create spaces that are welcoming to all. Spaces that truly allow us to connect without the distractions of modern life. We also understand that everyone is walking their own unique journey. Our hope is that our retreats provide time for rest and reflection in order gain greater mental clarity about the things that are important to us.

Something truly special happens when a group of (mostly) strangers comes together for a weekend full of movement, connection, nature and rest.

We’re constantly inspired by our communities and want to continue sharing the love, compassion and resiliency that we’ve witnessed, with the world.

We’re rooting for you.

Our 6 Pillars of Wellness

  • A woman with long brown hair, wearing sunglasses, a beige sports bra, and brown patterned leggings, flexing her arm muscles in front of a light blue painted brick wall with protruding brick designs.

    Movement

Movement is the foundation of Rooted Renewal. Whether you need to move some energy with a morning Vinyasa class or gently restore your mind and body with a peaceful walk in nature, we integrate accessible movement into every retreat.

  • Group of people in a yoga or meditation class, hugging and smiling after practice, with yoga mats on the floor.

    Connection

We believe that connection within ourselves invites a deeper connection to everyone around us. We intentionally curate retreat experiences that balance both inner and outer connection. We move together, break bread together, dance together and focus on building a supportive community.

  • A man with tattoos and a beard kneels on a small mat, speaking passionately with one hand on his chest. He wears a black T-shirt and white shorts. Around him are books and a white bowl. In the background, there is a guitar, a decorative statue, and a whiteboard on the wall.

    Knowledge

We do our best to honor the traditional practice of yoga. We also realize that everyone practices at a different level. That’s why we offer a number of workshops and sessions at each retreat around specific topics. Everything from workshops, labs and more. We’re lifelong students ourselves and want to pass that on to others.

  • Indoor swimming pool with stone walls and a glass ceiling.

    Rest

Retreats should leave you feeling rested and restored. Period. Part of Rooted’s special recipe is Sacred Silence. It’s is our way of dedicating time each day for you. Use it however you wish. That could mean journaling, napping, painting, meditating or going for a walk. No screens. No social conversation. Just intentional time to for complete relaxation.

  • A plate of food with sliced radishes, halved soft-boiled eggs with runny yolks, rice, microgreens, and green and pink purees. In the background, a grilled piece of meat and green salad in bowls on a wooden table.

    Food

Eating together around the dinner table is how we build strong, supportive bonds with others around us. Every retreat includes a private chef. Based on the group’s dietary restrictions, we build a nourishing menu that works for everyone.

  • Man doing yoga on a rocky mountain trail overlooking a cityscape under a clear blue sky

    Nature

We intentionally choose our locations based on the accessibility to nature. That could mean a private beach in Costa Rica, or a quiet property in Joshua Tree with hiking trails nearby. Nature is our teacher. It’s an important element that makes our retreats such a special experience.

Two smiling men standing outdoors in a desert-like area with mountains in the background, both barefoot, one with a beard and wearing a cap and open shirt, the other with tattoos and a Nirvana t-shirt.
